ARTOTHEK

The Artothek of the Kunstverein comprises some 750 framed graphics, photographs, drawings and prints from the 20th and 21st centuries. Established in 1978, it has been regularly extended by continuous purchases. The works can be borrowed by private individuals and firms from the Bielefeld City Library for eight weeks at a time against a small loan charge and taken home with you. Among them are works by artists like Oskar Kokoschka, Man Ray and René Magritte. However, Joseph Beuys, Bernd & Hilla Becher, Günther Förg, Dan Graham, Thomas Schütte, Daniel Richter, Gerhard Richter and Stephan Balkenhol also figure with small-format works.
